The Core Curriculum for children between the ages of 3 and 5 includes 45 lessons that work to develop the motivation and skills for children to be economically self-supporting as they grow older, but more important, that the children understand their own unique intelligences and value them as God’s gifts. The lesson content is geared toward cultivating unique interests and intelligences in order to build a greater sense of self. The units focus on “Who Am I?,” “Colors and Shapes,” “Understanding My Community,” “Where Does My Food Come From?,” “Understanding the World Around Me,” and “I Can Tell Stories” as lesson unit content. Each lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner.
