This collection of 8 lessons enables students to identify traits that will help them in choosing a career. The lessons build on one another, culminating in a career fair at the end of the curriculum. Students identify their learning style, their vocational personality types, their multiple intelligences, and their passions, purpose, and interests. These lessons are designed to build self-worth, highlight individual skills and strengths, prepare students for their future careers, and to equip each student with valuable self-knowledge. Throughout the course, students maintain career folders, which will be saved and used in Year 2 of this curriculum. Each of the 8 lessons includes detailed lesson plans, extra resources, worksheets for students and the teacher, lists of materials needed, and valuable tips for success.
