These three lessons teach students the importance of strong study habits, training them in creating schedules, using time effectively, and providing them with useful study tools. Lesson 1 helps students to create a basic schedule of time commitments and enables them to verbalize and understand the value of good study habits, and that learning is one of the gifts God gives us. Lesson 2 walks students through the parable of the talents and helps them recognize how this story applies to their lives. They will gain an understanding of how to prepare for effective and efficient study. Lesson 3 introduces students to different study tools, helping them to identify which tools would be most helpful in a variety of situations. The lessons are 40-45 minutes long and are meant for an entire class, utilizing small-group time as well. Each of the three lessons includes a detailed lesson plan, lists of materials needed, and questions to help guide a constructive conversation.
