The lesson “Making Wise Financial Decisions” helps to develop motivation and knowledge in children to enable them to be economically self-supporting in the future and helps them to understand the basic principles of managing money and credit. The children will gain an understanding of what it means to make wise purchases and the principles involved. They will each practice making a wise purchase at a pretend store. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 37th lesson in the 2nd Year “Managing Money” unit.
