The lesson “Using Safe Water” further works with children to help them to understand the importance of water sanitation and safety. The children will work together to identify their own local water sources that are safe, as well as water sources to avoid. Each child will think about ways he or she can improve the local water. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 15th lesson in the 1st Year “Water” unit.
