The lesson “What is Pollution?” teaches children about the meaning of air pollution, how it is created, and how breathing dirty air can sometimes make us sick. The children will have the opportunity to walk outside and experience that air pollution can be both seen and unseen. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 14th lesson in the 2nd Year “Understanding Pollution” unit.
