"Talking to Our Children about Sex" is the seventh edition of Terry Talks, a curriculum of ongoing video presentations and supporting materials led by Terry Laura (Health Technical Advisor at Compassion International). The resources are aimed at equipping and encouraging health and child advocates to learn, build on and put into practice their expertise in health, especially as it relates to children in poverty. In this edition of Terry Talks, we will answer the critical question of how to discuss the topic of sex with our children, providing you with practical ways to engage in conversations and communicate values. This supplemental guide is packed with more valuable information on how to talk to your children about sex, as well as discussion questions that you can work through with your team to help define how you can encourage good decision-making and healthy habits in this important area of health.
