The curriculum set, “Physical Lesson Plans for Ages 9-11, Year 2” is a collection of 52 lessons that will equip children to choose good health practices and become physically healthy. The curriculum is contextualized for Africa, and uses age appropriate verbiage, activities, and illustrations to help children gain an understanding of their physical bodies, learn how to prevent illnesses, and discover how to make wise life choices. Lessons will touch on a variety of topics including sexuality, physical abuse, and healthy practices. All lesson plans include instructions for preparing the material, teaching the lesson with hands-on activities, and assessment of learning. This set of lessons is designed to accompany “Physical Lesson Plans for Ages 9-11, Year 1.”
