The Foster Care Module for Foster Caregivers is designed to train and prepare potential foster caregivers for the tremendous task before them. The curriculum is founded on the Biblical principles of childcare and child protection, and contains nearly everything needed to support the delivery of the material. The curriculum is contextualized for Africa and provides objectives, requirements, and activities for fifteen foster care related topics, as well as assessment and evaluation tools. Topics include nurturing children, creating stability, dealing with diversity, appropriate discipline strategies and more.
