The lesson “Identifying Emotions (Part 2)” is a continuation of the first part of the “Identifying Emotions” lesson and further teaches children to monitor and regulate feelings to aid rather than impede in the handling of life and life situations. Children will, again, identify six emotions by drawing the facial expression of each emotion, labeling them as positive or negative, as well as point out the benefit of each emotion. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 9-11 years, and is the seventh lesson in the 1st year “Self-Awareness” unit.
