The lesson “Peer Mediation” teaches children the importance of mediation and negotiation skills. Children come to understand that negotiation achieves mutually satisfactory resolutions to conflict by addressing the needs of all concerned. The children learn and demonstrate skills to mediate and resolve peer conflict in their lives. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the 37th lesson in the 1st Year Core Curriculum Set and part of the “Leadership Preparation” unit.
