The lesson “Preventable Disease – Malaria” teaches the mother/caregiver how to prevent malaria transmission within the home and surrounding community. She will learn malaria symptoms and the importance of responding to these symptoms within 24 hours for pregnant mothers and young children. She will also be equipped with local (contextualized) resources and treatment for malaria.
