Adolescent Core Curriculum - Leadership - Today Matters

This curriculum set offers six in-depth lessons on topics that are crucial to emotional health within one’s environment and situation. Students will address biblical principles on a variety of topics, including the meaning of success, attitude, health, relationships, commitment, finances, faith, generosity, values, and personal growth. Each lesson looks at key biblical passages highlighting the concepts discussed, and asks a series of questions designed to get students talking and thinking critically about their own situations and how they can grow. These lessons are intended to increase a student’s self-awareness, and reinforce positive messages about their humanity and value. Lessons are 45 minutes long, and each contains a lesson plan with specific questions to help guide the conversation.
