These two lessons empower students to identify their strengths and weaknesses in studying, and to develop life-long learning skills. Lesson 1 helps students recognize their academic strengths and weaknesses in order to begin crafting a study plan. They will also be able to identify and create a learning environment that best suits their needs. Lesson 2 teaches students the value of life-long learning skills, and equips them with new skills and tools to become life-long learners. This curriculum reinforces their ideas of self-discipline and the importance of school. The lessons are 45 minutes long and the group size is flexible. Each of the two lessons includes a detailed lesson plan, lists of materials needed, and questions to help guide a constructive conversation.
