This collection of five individual lessons helps students recognize their own style of thinking and problem-solving. Lesson 1 increases students’ critical thinking skills by having them respond to pictures and articles in a thoughtful discussion. Lesson 2 has students identify problems that effect their community, discussing these issues in detail and with a biblical perspective. Lessons 3 builds upon communication skills, having students explain a problem and its contributing factors to their peers. Lesson 4 enables students to analyze problems through both positive and negative aspects, and Lesson 5 encourages students to explore possible solutions to a problem using a biblical and thoughtful perspective. Each of the five lessons includes a lesson plan, a list of necessary materials, time requirements, and a conversation and question guide. This curriculum is intended for ages 15-18.
