The lesson “Air Is Everywhere” is part 27 of a 44 part series on human development, family, health, and safety. This lesson teaches about air and breathing. People can’t see air but can see the results of air moving, such as wind. This resource includes a lesson plan for the teacher on how to prepare beforehand, class-time content to facilitate learning, hands-on activities facilitating further learning, and a teacher assessment at the end. This lesson is designed for a group of young children between the ages of 3 and 5, and is the twenty-seventh physical development lesson in the CoreCurriculum, 3-5 years, Year Two.
