The lesson “Healthy, Happy Teeth with Brushing” is part 38 of a 43 part series on human development, parts of the body, health, and safety. This lesson teaches about keeping teeth clean through regular brushing. This resource includes a lesson plan for the teacher on how to prepare beforehand, class-time content to facilitate learning, hands-on activities facilitating further learning, and a teacher assessment at the end. This lesson is designed for a group of young children between the ages of 6 and 8, and is the thirty-eighth physical development lesson in the Core Curriculum, 6-8 years, Year One.
