The lesson “You Are Wonderfully Made” teaches children about the differences between boys and girls and how important each is in God’s creation. Children learn to verbalize what they like about being either a boy or a girl and also to show respect for the opposite sex in words and action. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 6-8 years, and is the tenth lesson in the 1st Year Core Curriculum and part of the “Sexual Development” unit.
