This training guide aims to help participants accurately measure the weight and health of a child, identify the WHO growth standard & appropriate applications, plot & update individual growth charts for children at risk for malnutrition, identify the expected growth pattern for each child, analyze plotted growth curves in growth charts, assess when & how to intervene in unusual growth patterns, and discuss the importance of growth monitoring with parents/caregivers.
