I Know About Fire

The lesson “I Know About Fire” is part 39 of a 42 part series on parts of the human body, health, and safety. This lesson focuses on fire safety for children. The lesson talks about avoiding playing with matches or fire, and the stop, drop, and roll technique for putting out clothing fires. This resource includes a lesson plan for the teacher on how to prepare beforehand, class-time content to facilitate learning, hands- on activities facilitating further learning, and a teacher assessment at the end.
